This hostel is great for socializing, with live music and free beer hour every night! However, the music goes on until about 11 pm, so be prepared for some noise if that’s an issue. I met some wonderful people. The only downside for me was the small rooms. Each bed had about a 1 x 1 m space, so in a 6-person dorm, you only had a narrow 6 x 1 m corridor to organize your belongings. The beds themselves were spacious and had good organizers. The bathrooms could use more hooks, as there’s virtually nowhere to hang towels. People were jamming them into lockers or hanging them from beds. The bathrooms were decent, with isolated dry showers. The breakfast was good, with made-to-order eggs in various styles. The food that can be ordered was also quite good. We gently enjoyed their coffees and burritos.

I had a great time staying at Buffalo hostel. It was clean and comfy. The food was excellent !! Very vibes and busy in the evening but the outside area and bar closes at 11 so it was not noisy when going to bed. Lots of restaurants and bars near by however excellent drink deals at Buffalo it's self. Breakfast was also great. Freddie brought so much energy in the evenings and was really kind and easy to chat too. He is an asset to the Buffalo team.

Unsere erste Begegnung mit dem Buffalo Hostel war… sagen wir mal schwierig 😅 Wir kamen völlig zerstört aus dem Nachtbus in Ninh Binh an und hatten die naive Hoffnung, frühmorgens einchecken zu können. Leider (oder eher: völlig zu Recht) wurde der Check-in strikt auf 14:00 Uhr verschoben. In unserem Übermüdungs-Delirium tauften wir das Hostel kurzerhand liebevoll Buffalo „Trash“ Hostel. Spoiler: Das war natürlich komplett unser eigenes Problem. Denn nach dem offiziellen Check-in änderte sich die Meinung schlagartig. Die Erfahrung war absolut ausgezeichnet. Die Betten waren mit Abstand die bequemsten, die wir in vier Wochen Vietnam hatten, und das Zimmer war extrem geräumig. Alles war sehr sauber, gut durchdacht und einfach komfortabel. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit, und in den Gemeinschaftsbereichen herrschte durchgehend eine richtig gute, entspannte Atmosphäre. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist auch die hosteleigene Bar – ein echter Pluspunkt. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls 1A. Fazit: Morgens vielleicht kurz ein „Trash Hostel“ (wenn man selbst zu früh kommt), ab 14:00 Uhr aber definitiv ein Top-Hostel, das wir jederzeit weiterempfehlen würden. 😄🐃

Amazing hostel! Staff were very friendly & attentive. The room was very nice (comfortable bed and pillow). Had a really good rest. Skipped breakfast as needed more sleep but later ordered food and coffee at the bar near the pool - everything was superb!

The customer service here is amazing, the staff is helpful with any request. ||We couldn’t check-in before 14 because it was fully booked the day before, but we could leave our bags and went to lunch at a nearby café. ||We could choose top or bottom bed, and the room was very clean and nice. We had a 6-bed dorm and bathroom. ||Breakfast was very nice! Also free beer from 19-20 which is insane and the vibes were amazing. We didn’t try the pool because it was too cold and windy, but it was very clean. ||10/10 would come here again
